March was an especially busy month at scar-id store. One of the most visible results is the lack of new pieces in our online shop, although in the store we have a lot of new ones. The first Spring-Summer selection of pieces by Alexandra Moura, Carla Pontes, Olímpia Davide and David Catalán are already in our charriots.Every week we have new ceramic pieces from Lagrima and “Urchins” from Joana Santos . On the last Tuesday, a more minimal like of Husk notebooks arrived to our store. Day 11th, Ana Pina´s “Tubular” collection was on our main storefront. In the Art District´s “Inaugurações Simultâneas” day we presented a minimal collection made just with 1, 2 3 or 4cm round wires and tubes. March 17th was the official launch day of ATER by scar-id, our new (sub-) brand of leather accessories. Between 6 and 11p.m we received our clients, friends and designers to celebrate another year of scar-id and to lay the bases for the next one. But March was also the month of the Portuguese Fashion Weeks. In Lisbon, Filipe Faísca and Ricardo Andrez presented their AW17´18 collections at Moda Lisboa, and Alexandra Moura and Pedro Pedro at PortugalFashion. In PortugalFashion, these time in Porto, a day was once again dedicated to the ´Bloom` space for the young talents. The CTT Palace unfinished rooms were again the ideal set for the show of our designers Amorphous, Olímpia Davide, Eduardo Amorim, Beatriz Bettencourt and David Catalán.In the next day, at the Oporto Customs House, it was the time for Pé de Chumbo and Susana Bettencourt. But for us, this year, Carla Pontes show had a special highlight. We had the pleasure to accept the designer´s invitation to show our ATER by scar-id leather accessories line along with her ´Wind` collection. We could not think of a better collection to work with.Weare so happy with the result. April will surely be a month for a lot of new collections in storeWe will try to, as soon as possible, update scar-id.com with all the “new in store” we want to show you.Stay tuned.
