Crua Design is a creative studio that emerged in 2014 as a result of experimentation with discarded and unusual materials, seeking simplicity and sophistication through a pure and truthful design.
Created by Germana Lópes, a Brasil-born Fashion Designer and Art Director, Crua Design values the quality of local raw material and labour, connects with the whole world and converses with the fashion, design, architecture and visual arts industries.
Germana sees the use of discarded materials as a challenge to her creativity. In abandonment she sees potential, a hidden possibility of creation and transformation.
