BOAH NOVA is a Portuguese brand dedicated to the design and production of lamps. The project explores new ways of relating light, material and space. BOAH NOVA lamps are sculptural pieces, created with the care and time they deserve. They combine local knowledge, technology and manual craftsmanship
with a modernist vision of design: respect for materials and their natural qualities, simplicity, and an aesthetic conceived to remain relevant over time.
BOAH NOVA is inseparable from the place where it develops its activity, Leça da Palmeira, a cultural and material ecosystem where the proximity of the sea and the tradition of manual work create a singular context. It is from this context that contemporary objects with their own identity emerge. In a world of mass production, true distinction lies in singularity.
