Luís Buchinho

Luís Buchinho, has been on the market for 20 years. Constant presence in Moda Lisboa since 1991, in Portugal Fashion since 1996 and in Paris Fashion Week since 2009. The brand’s trajectory is guided by the evolution of the creator as a designer.
The brand began selling in 1992, in Portugal. This is currently distributed throughout the country. Luis Buchinho has already participated in several fairs such as Bread and Butter, Who’s Next and Gallery 2020.
In 2007, it opened its first store at Rua José Falcão 122, Porto, and the second in 2012, at Esplanada do Castelo, also in Porto.
Throughout his career as a designer, Luís Buchinho was honoured with the award for Best Women’s Collection granted by the Moda Lisboa association in 1999, in 2010 he was awarded the award for Best Fashion Designer – (Fashion TV) and in 2012 he received the Golden Globe for Best Fashion Designer, the same was repeated in 2016.
Luis Buchinho has been teaching Fashion Design since 2006 at the Professional Training Center (CITEX), currently called Modatex.
His experience as a knitwear designer is evident in his work, something characteristic of his brand. Elaborate and original structures, graphic details and unusual games of colours and textures, form a composition of dynamic silhouettes that define a cosmopolitan, charismatic and authentic look.
