Mónica Santos

Mónica Braga dos Santos is a product designer, teacher and ceramist, based in Porto.
In her 24 years of practice, she has been distinguished in several competitions, including The International Architecture and Design Awards 2014, in the seating category, and has participated in events such as the Collective Exhibition 1000 Vases – Paris Design Week 2019 or the MUD MATTERS exhibition – Porto Design Bienalle 2023.
After working for the Inditex group, she returned to Portugal and in 2015 created Monica Santos Studio, dedicated to product design, creative direction consultancy and sourcing/product development . Mónica Produces hand-made ceramic pieces, such as the collections developed for the Wewood store or The Art Gate Restaurant.
Since 2020 he has been teaching at LSD Porto and WOC, IPCA.
