“This work, which is shaped into a video, actually is made of 242 photographs. These are 242 points of view on SCAR-ID, the store-gallery-atelier and its owners-curators-designers.
These images are the result of documenting one day of the place and its inhabitants, from opening to closing.
It was a random day in July, determined by a laborious compatibilization of agendas, more than by any strategic option. The resulting work is a portrait of that day, marked by meetings with designers, by the ceramics drying times and by the density of cities’ plans, without this having been pre-established but simply because these were the tasks naturally underway that day.
Being this a photography work, it is done in a documentary reportage approach, mattering the whole that results from the liaison of the various images, more than the isolated value of each one.
That determines the option of presenting a video as result, articulating the mentioned points of view, in a chronologic and visual narrative.
Here is day 3512 in the life of SCAR-ID.”
